Dolomite powder is one of the many mineral powders manufactured and exported by Ajay Exports. Dolomite has unique properties that make it an ideal material for various applications. It is less reactive and exhibits better acid resistance compared to other mineral powders. It is known to increase flow rates due to its higher bulk density and specific gravity. This characteristic makes it an ideal choice for many industries that require a material that can facilitate faster production rates.
- Less reactive
- Better acid resistance
- Increases flow rates because of its higher Bulk Density and Sp. Gravity
- Higher Production rate
Dolomite, a naturally occurring mineral, finds wide-ranging applications across industries. It is less reactive and offers better acid resistance, making it ideal for use in rigid PVC pipes and thermoplastics. It serves as an additive in the rubber industry and is used as a hardening agent. With its higher bulk density and specific gravity, Dolomite increases flow rates, making it useful in the paint, ceramic, and power coating industries. It is also used in the manufacturing of reinforced polyester glass fiber, leather cloth, flooring, and detergents. In the glass industry, Dolomite is utilized in the manufacturing of sheet and optical glasses.
- Rigid PVC pipes
- Leather cloth and Flooring applications
- Glass Industry (In manufacturing Sheet & Optical Glasses)
- An additive for Thermoplastic and as a hardning agent for Rubber industry
Our grades of Dolomite powder are available in 300 Mesh to 700 Mesh BSS standard and in Micronise grades Our grades are available in top cut 5, 10, 15 & 20 Microns with Brightness ranging from 85% to 95% and with Mgo contents ranging from 19% to 22%.
Dolomite is a naturally occurring mineral that is composed of calcium magnesium carbonate (CaMg(CO3)2). Its chemical composition can vary depending on the source and location of the deposit. However, the typical chemical composition of dolomite consists of approximately 54% calcium oxide (CaO), 30% magnesium oxide (MgO), and 16% carbon dioxide (CO2). The presence of these elements in dolomite makes it an excellent source of calcium and magnesium, which are important nutrients for plants, animals, and humans. Calcium is essential for bone growth and maintenance, while magnesium plays a crucial role in many biological processes, including muscle and nerve function, energy production, and protein synthesis. Moreover, the chemical composition of dolomite also makes it useful in various industrial applications, including in the production of ceramics, glass, and cement. Its unique combination of calcium and magnesium also makes it a popular material in the agriculture industry, where it is used as a soil conditioner to improve soil fertility and pH balance.
